While I’m usually a studio-based photographer, I’m not averse to wandering outside when the opportunity presents itself.
Last weekend, I found myself in a fantastic garden in the early evening with the sun glowing beautifully at a lovely angle, so naturally, I grabbed the nearest child (my son, in case you’re wondering) and my camera. One light (the sun!), using the angles and a wide open aperture for shallow depth of field. People photography at its simplest.
